UAE Labour Complaints to be Resolve Fast

UAE Government has just launched another service named TAWAFUQ which includes a fast track dispute centre to mediate labour complaints in UAE within 48 hours and maximum 10 days of time to resolve labour cases.

UAE is trying its level best to provide people their best services like a modern nation, and they have completed many projects in which expats can avail government services while sitting in their comfort zones.

Labour complaints in UAE was the biggest headache for employee and employers because of long waited court hearings etc which seems in control now, this service will give Ministry more space to focus on its effort by chalking out enhancing policies of the labour market.

Labour Complaints will mediate within 48 Hours:

Once company or worker registered a complaint, the centre will try to mediate between both parties within 48 hours of time which is just 2 days.
Also, a toll free labour dispute number (80060) is also launched through which both company (employer) and worker (employee) can register their complaints.

What if parties are not agreeing:

If complaint is to be taken forward, it will be referred to TAWFUQ centre to be examined by legal counselors in the presence of both parties.
If still the complaint remains unsolved, the case will be referred to the competent courts.

Maximum 10 days� time to Resolve Labour Issues:

Tawafuq centres will be able to resolve and settle labour complaints within a maximum of 10 working days, again it is maximum of 10 working days.
It means it can be done early which depends up-to the type of complaint.

Final Decision by Court:

Point to be noted here that TAWAFUQ centre will have no extreme power to take a final decision on the registered complaints but all complaints will be referred to the court for final decision.

TAWAFUQ Centre Timing:

TAWAFUQ centre will be available from morning 08:00 am to 08:00 pm Saturday to Thursday, visitors need to wait between 3-10 minutes with the service provided in next 30 minutes.
Another good news is that centre is available for service with Urdu/Hindi, Arabic and English languages which will help to register labour complaints easily.
